New Year, New Adventure!

Happy New Year! It’s a New Year and my life is off on a new adventure with a new job!

Since I started cruising over 25 years ago I have been able to travel to over 75 countries on 5 continents. It’s incredible how many places around the world cruises go, all of the different types of cruises, and how there really is a cruise for everyone. Over the past few years I have found myself more and more interested in letting people know of the incredible itineraries and places that cruises can take you. From expedition cruises to Antartica or river cruises to the Christmas markets of Europe, a Caribbean escape, a family cruise to Alaska, or an around-the-world once-in-a-lifetime adventure there is a cruise for everyone to pretty much everywhere on earth. While I love “The Love Boat”, there are a lot more cruise options out there now than sailing to Mexico with Captain Stubbing and Issac the bartender.

My love of cruising started as a kid on family vacations and never stopped. I’ve cruised extensively both as a passenger on everything from mainstream cruise lines like Carnival and Royal Caribbean to the ultra luxury of Seabourn.

My real expertise though comes from working onboard cruise ships. Up until recently I worked for one of the major cruise lines sailing onboard their ships around the world. This opportunity led me to sail on a huge variety of itineraries, from the Caribbean and Alaska to the Amazon River, Europe, South Pacific, Asia, through the Panama Canal, the Suez Canal, to the Middle East and more, on voyages from one day long to months-long adventures around the globe.

It’s now time to trade in my sea-legs for some time at home and I am excited to announce that I will be taking that knowledge, experience, and insight from my years sailing the world as a passenger and from my time working onboard to work as a travel advisor with Milne Travel ready to help you plan your next adventure!

Among my favorite aspects of cruising are grand voyages and voyages that explore a region more in depth. These include world cruises, voyages that circumnavigate continents, have multiple overnights, and often that give you the opportunity to explore all seven continents departing roundtrip from the continental United States.

A grand voyage sound a bit too long for you? Having sailed nearly every region of the globe I can help you find the cruise that is right for you. Is a cruise not for you? I am also happy to help you plan your land based journey by plane, train, or automobile, to an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean or at a private villa (by way of a private jet) in Italy and everything in between.
